ABOUT US

Justice Mohan Children’s University is founded by Honorable Justice Dr. S. Mohan - Former Judge, Supreme Court of India and Shri. Dr. S. Amar Prasad Reddy – Chairman, Recruitment Analysis Council.

The JMCU’s concept is relatively simple: It offers superior educational experiences for children’s aged between 5 and 16 years and volunteering opportunities for 15-18 year olds outside of school and recognizes their achievements through the award of formal certificates and graduations, acknowledging the value of the range of different learning experiences and environments in which children engage.

JMCU is child led, meaning that children choose what activities they would like to participate in, and participation occurs on a voluntary basis. You can learn anywhere, not just in a classroom and you can learn from all sorts of people in all sorts of situations.

OBJECTIVES

Objectives of the university would be formulated in the light of the guidance that we can derive from Mahatma Gandhiji, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam also many other pioneering educationists of India and the other parts of the world.

  • Education must not be a burden for Children it must be the experience of Learning.
  • Education must give hope to young generation to achieve their Goals.
  • Scientific realism and artistic creativity should be synthesized during the course of the education of the child.
  • Learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together and learning to be.
  • Education for life and for the journey of life that would include the harmonious growth of the individual, family, society and the world, with special emphasis on the ideal of social service.
  • Expansion of ancient wisdom in the light of modern developments and research.
  • Education of the child should aim at the development of true character filled with patriotism and dedicated to self - reliance and dignity of labour and harmonious development of the body, life, mind and spirit, capable of meeting successfully the challenges of contemporary times and capable of commitment to our country and the highest values of culture, as also to fundamental duties.
  • To raise awareness of the benefits and opportunities that higher education can bring, particularly for students from traditionally unrepresented sections of society.

  • Establishment of facilities, programs and activities that would promote at all levels of education concerns for the development of the child, in particular reference to:
    • Harmonious growth of health, strength, agility and health of the body mind and spirit;
    • Qualities of quest of truth and knowledge, courage, heroism, adventure, enterprise, initiative, enthusiasm and dynamism of active life;
    • Qualities of sympathy, friendliness, fairness, justice, patriotism and universal welfare in all its aspects;
    • Qualities of multiple skills and applied technology; and
    • Qualities of unity, mutuality and harmony that spring from the deepest psychic and spiritual recesses and heights that are nurtured by the processes of learning to be and to become.
  • To organize and conduct International Language Development Programmes.
  • To facilitate the Youth and Children according to their talents.
  • To establish “Centre of Excellence” for Culture, Sports, Research and Arts etc.
  • To create a National Children Registry to identify the talents and to focus on their progress towards the Children’s Goal.
  • To conduct Exhibitions/Conferences/Summits/Conventions for Children and Youth.
  • To introduce the Advance Teaching Methodologies to trigger the talents of Children.
  • To have tie-ups with Institutions across the Globe to exchange the concepts and ideas.
  • To organize International/National/State Level Competitions on various Domains for Children.
  • To establish the District Level Camp Office to work with village students.
  • To connect the most successful talents/achievements to improve the Children’s Goal/Ambition which will help them to get proper advice.
  • To produce the best talents from India to the world.
  • To introduce the concept called “STAMP” towards Talent Analysis and Monitoring Progress.

Justice Mohan Children’s University provides high quality, voluntary educational experiences for children aged between 5 and 16 years, and volunteering opportunities for students aged between 15 and 18 years. Children choose which activities they would like to participate to Learning as they go. They are rewarded for their participation with certificates presented at formal ceremonies held in high profile locations, celebrate their achievements with friends, family and teachers.

Benifits To Schools

To be changed as per our terms sir (Restricted Learning Destinations offer teachers and students the opportunity to explore areas of joint interest. Clubs can run for a short time, maybe only a couple of sessions, or throughout the whole school year. Some clubs may only run for half an hour each session, whereas some may last longer – it is up to the schools and students to decide what best suits their needs. These decisions make Children’s University provision in each school very individual, and a true reflection of the character of that venue.)

Learning Destinations provide high quality learning activities and experiences with a ‘wow’ factor and have passed the Justice Mohan Children’s University own quality assurance process, Planning for Learning. A Learning Destination can range from a museum to a farm to an airport to a corporate business or anything in between, as long as the activity connects with JMCU learning and has realistic links to a university program.

Becoming a Learning Destination can be a powerful way to engage with the community and contribute to the success and achievement of young people in your region. Being a Learning Destination is a great way to promote your organization to the local community and to engage with young people in your service delivery.

VOLUNTEERS

Justice Mohan Children’s University offers a Passport to Volunteering for 15 – 18 year olds which is a great way for older students to still be involved in Children’s University. Volunteers are involved in running activities at schools, assisting with University programs and providing positive role models for younger children.

Volunteers will also graduate and be rewarded for their contributions to the JMCU program through the award of certificates held at formal ceremonies.
